This is Juquehy beach in the state of Sao Paulo, 2 hours from the city. It’s a really beautiful beach and really nice for all ages, your going to have fun eather if you’re a baby, a teenager or an eldery person.

Red Project

Some companies like Apple, Converse and Gap got together to fight against the AIDS epidemics in Africa.

April, from Canada, blogs about it and encourages you to check out the sites she has provided links to about the RED Campaign as they have some really good information.

I think the idea of the Red Project is really good because they’re helping other people instead of keeping all the money with them

Marrocco

In 2002 I went to Marrocco with my father and my sister. We traveled all the country by car, we spend 37 hours in the car in one week. It was exhausting but very interresting. We went to the desert and spent one night there in a desert tent. It was really a new experience because we walked in the dunes it was very hot and a sand storm started. We were filming everything and because of the wind the camera felt and we’ve never found it. After this we went back to the tents and slept. The following day we went back and we lost the road because of the sand storm: with the wind the sand had covered the road and we spent 3 hours looking for it. It was a funny adventure.

Carnival

Last carnival, I went to Juquehy, a beach on the south coast of Sao Paulo. I travelled with 2 friends of mine (Hannah and Christian). We stayed in my house that is in front of the beach. We could even hear the sound of the waves so you can imagine how pleasant it is . We went there with my mother and my sister and when we arrived, my cousins and some friends of theirs were already there. The weather was very nice: it was sunny all day and we had a little breeze at night. There is a restaurant called Badauê where everybody goes to meet their friends. Every night a singer goes there and it’s very nice. There are a lot of French people there, so we knew a lot of people, and made some new friends too.
At night, we went out with my cousins and another friend to see a concert of a band called “Jeito moleque”. I really enjoy this band unlike everyone else but their concert was terrible. The band that had to play before them was deplorable. But we were with our friends so we had fun anyway.
The following day, Hannah and I asked my sister to teach us how to surf… do I have to tell how it was? It was really humiliating but we laughed a lot looking at each other´s efforts.
This holiday meant a lot to me. I learnt to know people. I think I’ve changed since this carnival. Thanks Hannah and Christian for the great time we had together and everything else!
